WHAT IS PAINT PROTECTION FILM (PPF) MADE OF?
Paint protection film is a thin, clear, thermoplastic urethane film that is applied to the exterior of a vehicle to protect it from scratches, rock chips, and other minor abrasions. It has high durability to external forces, high surface tension (so it can avoid the impact of rocks and debris) in addition to incredible self healing properties!
HOW DOES A PAINT PROTECTION FILM WORK?
A paint protection film creates a barrier between the vehicle's paint and the elements that can cause damage such as gravel, sand, rocks, insects, and road debris. The film significantly increases the threshold for the amount of force needed to damage the paint. It also contains self healing properties, which is a huge plus!
